Daniel checking in from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We're on our way in from our 1/2 day trip this afternoon. We had a fun day fishing. we spent the better part of our morning picking away at whitefish and sculpin. I think we got 110 whitefish and a handful of sculpin. After that, we played around in the shallows and ended up with 2 legal halibut. We threw back a few short halibut and a short seabass that was just a couple of inches short. Good sign of fish. The Islands look really lively. Fishing looks like it's shaping up to be pretty good here so looking forward to having you guys out. Daniel has all the details for you below.
