For our light load today, only had 10 people, and got the rockfish done and managed to get some whitefish in the bags, too.

Tim checked in for the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Hey, what's up, guys? This is Tim from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Harbor Sport Fishing, just giving you a wrap up for our day. Beautiful weather, decent fishing, little bit on the slower side. I think the water temp's dropped. The Island Spirit with 15 anglers on a 1/2 Day caught 80 rockfish, 25 whitefish, and 3 sculpin. Tim has the current fish report for you below.

We also caught 4 lingcod, then spent some time in the shallows looking for game fish with this great bait that we got, and caught 5 halibut to end our day. Tim checked in for the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. Just giving you an update on our half-day trip today. We had kind of funky conditions today. Fishing was kind of tough with a lot of guys. But we ended up getting close to 250 rockfish. I don't know, more than a dozen whitefish, a couple lingcod. A lot of people, a lot of tangles, a lot of current. But today was a special one.

But we do have room this week if you guys want to jump aboard. Island Spirit's got plenty of people and plenty of room for you guys to come aboard. So make a reservation. Come out and see us.
