Either way still a really fun group of guys, girls, and kids. We had a fun day of fishing. Our group caught 228 rockfish, 29 whitefish, a couple of sculpin, and 4 lingcod. We just finished up our first drift and got limits of reds and about half limits on all the rockfish we could get on the first drift, about 160 fish on the boat. Really incredible bottom fishing for us to start off the day, but going to move to a different area now to catch something other than reds. Also, we still have space tomorrow guys! Tucker checked in for the Endeavor out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. They have a 2-day charter departing tomorrow night, fishing Tuesday and Wednesday with a couple spots open that need to be filled. They'll be fishing seabass and halibut. If you want to get out on this trip give the charter master, John, a call. They're just shy of 30 halibut right now and seeing signs of seabass. Our really fun group of guys wanted to spend the first half of the day fishing for halibut and gamefish. We tried hard, but didn't really get anything in return. We spent the remainder of our day with pretty good bottom fishing for the time we got to do that. Our 40 passengers today ended up with 186 rockfish, 3 lingcod, and 1 rock sole.
